Summer School Abroad & International Trips

CIS students can have first-hand experiences of the world and its various cultures in many ways, including online and video conferencing with sister schools, pen-pal or e-pal correspondences, cultural evenings, and guest performances and speakers. Many CIS students take the opportunity to participate in study-travel programs abroad. These 8-10 day educational field trips to Europe and Asia occur during the school year, in conjunction with a school vacation. We are hoping to expand our journeys to other continents, as well. In our exchange programs, students live with host families, experience historical and cultural sites, and practice the language of the country. Some of these trips are specifically designed for language immersion. (County travel restrictions may curtail international travel.)
