Curriculum Requirements  

CIS has been called a “school-within-a-school.” All CIS students take specially-designated CIS classes, in addition to the classes which fulfill Florida State Graduation Requirements.

**Valencia Community College (VCC) and Advanced Placement (AP) classes taken at Dr. Phillips allow students to earn college credit while still in high school, and advance their eligibility for Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarships to college.
